May 7th: Müller ice cap

Today, we flew to Müller ice cap, our home for the coming month.

The weather was so beautiful, and the view from the plane exceptional. We left Eureka station on Elsmere isand, crossed a frozen fjord, and got to Axel Heiberg Island, with a very complex topography. Finally, we reached the ice cap, a smooth, flat looking extent of ice. This is where our camp is.
