The 2011 program one will take place at UBC in partnership with the President’s and Vice President’s Offices.

From July 7 to August 4, 2011 three delegations of 10 Palestinian, 10 Israeli, and 10 Canadian university students will gather at UBC for an extraordinary dialogue and filmmaking experience. After professional facilitators guide the students to break down barriers through dialogue and creative exercises, skilled film mentors will work with small tri-cultural groups to create short films about the conflict.

We will then work with the youth of each delegation to empower others in their community to engage in peace-building. We will work with highly qualified facilitators and filmmaking mentors, some of whom have worked with Peace it Together in the past.

Since the 2006 program, the Peace It Together Society has been awarded the City of Vancouver’s Cultural Harmony Award and the B.C.
