{"id":2,"date":"2010-09-14T18:32:16","date_gmt":"2010-09-14T18:32:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/naomi\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2010-09-14T11:26:22","modified_gmt":"2010-09-14T19:26:22","slug":"about","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/naomi\/","title":{"rendered":"About"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>My name is Naomi Robins.\u00a0 I am an EAL (English as an Additional Language) Instructor and sometimes workshop facilitator.\u00a0 I visualize language learning as a continuous journey.\u00a0 It can be full of emotions-from anticipation, to nervousness, to fear and joy.\u00a0 Every step can lead to new insight and senses of achievement, or test one&#8217;s patience.\u00a0 Sometimes the road is smooth and one can make great progress, while other times it can lead to pitfalls, mountains to climb, rivers to cross, and plateaus, but unless attempted, nothing is achieved.
