Thank you for the kind invitation. I would love to join you in forming a professional writing team. I have taken the opportunity to visit your blog and read your application letter. I too came from a previous degree where a majority of the undergraduate assignments were research papers; I believe we have a very similar writing style with our shared experiences in writing research papers that will work well in a technical writing team. Being in the same computer science program, we can also support each other in our course works.

Thank you for the prompt reply. I am glad that you are interested in forming a writing team together! I have recently been contacted by our classmate Helen Yu, who also happens to be in the BCS program. She and Regina Lai, another BCS student, are looking for two more team members. The four of us will definitely make an interesting collaboration, since we all hold a previous degree in different fields while we currently study computer science.
My favourite aspects of working at Fido is having the opportunity to work closely with the latest mobile technology. Ultimately, my experience and knowledge in technology through the job led me to apply for the BCS program at UBC. I too am excited to learn more about your previous work in the Digital Media field. I am sure your experience with technical writing will contribute vastly to our team.
