Creating a Content Module for Online Course<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Continue exploring and experimenting\u00a0with the affordances and limitations of individual LMS. This assignment\u00a0has two components: (1) an educational module (or learning object) which you create within the\u00a0LMS environment, and (2) a Project documentation part, in which you provide information on the main components of your module: learning objectives, assessment methods and tools, communication methods and tools, content elements and navigation elements. This\u00a0educational module<\/strong> for an online course\u00a0should<\/p>\n

(1) be\u00a0designed and structured \u00a0according to the stated learning objectives;
\n(2) incorporate assessment tools;
\n(3) incorporate communication tools;
\n(2) incorporate several content elements designed in instructional format,
\n(3) use graphic and\/or media elements.<\/p>\n

Assignment 3 is about one\u00a0module of your course, so the focus is on the learning objectives\u00a0(pedagogical, didactic, etc.) for one particular unit: you chose its\u00a0structure (that outlines an optimal way to achieve learning objectives\u00a0via combining particular content elements and activities), tools (for\u00a0learning and practicing skills: analytical, communicative,
\ncollaborative, creativity, knowledge construction), media\u00a0(incorporating graphic and other digital media formats for achieving the unit\u2019s\u00a0learning objectives).<\/p>\n

In the documentation file you are asked to reflect on the way you are using the tools and\u00a0design elements, to explain the pedagogical,\u00a0didactic, organizational value of these particular elements and your design\u00a0solutions, to demonstrate your awareness of the role of these elements\u00a0in constructing optimal learning experience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
