We had the fortunate opportunity to leave the classroom for the day and visit Steveston in British Columbia which used to be one of the largest fisheries capitals in the world. Here we explored heritage fishing sites, fishery life in the past, the canning industry, and met with 3 local fisherman who shared their local knowledge and expertise with us. While I could spend all day talking about what I learned on this trip, I picked out a few things I wanted to personally reflect on. Press the red arrow if you care to lend an ear !
