Put a second piece of cardboard on top of your specimen and now continue the process with your next specimen. Take some friends along and it&#8217;s amazing what you can accomplish in a weekend! This UBC Herbarium and UBC Botanical Garden Foray weekend we collected, identified and submitted over 120 new specimens to add to our knowledge of British Columbia Flora!<\/p>\n<p>Check out here our photos of what happened in one weekend. Collecting, of course, but also a road closure due to a missing part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5842387577\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">road<\/a>, collecting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5853952165\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\"><em>Opuntia<\/em> cactus<\/a> (which was not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5842929592\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">my personal favourite<\/a>).\u00a0 We also saw some beautiful <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5854571848\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">scenery<\/a>, got to scale <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5842924992\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">cliff sides<\/a>, saw some beautiful orchids (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5854392910\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5842378681\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/beatymuseum\/5842926180\/in\/album-72157626858825797\/\">3<\/a>), and, as always, made great memories.
