Risk, Writing, and Pedagogy

In medieval monasteries, the scriptorium was the room where manuscripts were written and copied.  More than this, scriptoriums represented a community of writers, readers and artists working on their crafts.

As a beginning English teacher, the idea of a writing community seemed an appropriate way to begin a blog chronicling my journey.  These are my musings about my journey as an educator thus far.
