Below is the balcony rap I created myself to show my students what I was looking for in terms of the project:
Yo – there’s Juliet, she’s my true love
If only she knew she my angel from up above
Her eyes are sayin something, yet she says nothin
What in the world is my lady thinkin?
I would reply, but I’m too bold
She ain’t talking to me, but thinkin of something I wish I could behold
The stars in the sky got some business to do
So my lady’s eyes have taken their place until they get the cue
To come back to earth back to my lady’s face
She is so beautiful and full of grace.
