Today we went to Amsterdam as a class and explored the city.
In the morning, we checked out the Rijksmuseum and saw some impressive pieces of art from Van Gogh and Rembrandt. There were also special displays, my favourite being the weapons and the music displays. Below are some pictures from the museum:
Afterwards, I went to the Heineken Experience with a few classmates. It was a great experience, I learned a lot about the beer making process as well as the history of the world class company that Heineken has become, everything from how they first started, to their famous TV commercials. That evening, we went out for a great dinner as a class, I had amazing Dutch pannekoek (pancakes) with bacon and cheese.
