3am rant…. how come I don’t have any Guy friend?!
It just occured to me, that ever since high-school, I’ve drastically decreased contact with boy friends…. probably just what all my friends do? But since I was little, I’ve always been playing with the guys more till I hit teenage – the awkward years.
Now that I’m sadly going to say goodbye to my last teen year in about 4 months, I have to figure out why I’m the only one among my friend who’s still not hanging out with any guy. Like any.
I know guys like to talk to more attractive girls and I don’t blame them, I do, too. But hey, just friends…. nothing more. I wanna be single as well, so I wouldn’t ever think about it that way ( if that is what is up). I might not look good, but at least I look normal? Isn’t that just what friends should look like?!
OK, and seriously, stop thinking girls are all the flirting kind, I mean, those might not be on purpose, but they certainly feel fake. Don’t you hate that?! I mean…. why not just talk naturally?! We’re just gonna be friends, can’t we just talk like sister and brother? ( Or brother and brother or sister and sister, depending on the situation). Oh, who am I kidding, from what I’ve heard, guys don’t want to make friends with girls they don’t want to sleep with. ( True story).
All complainings aside, I do have a few Guy friends that I occasionally talk to on twitter and Facebook and MSN. I met both of them in computer programming class in high-school. Common interests in tech does go a long way. Other than that, just one other Guy that is like a girl friend to all my besties.
I’m so dumb. I just spent 15 minutes being whiny. Might as well go to sleep. .. night!
