When a new employee enter an organization, there is a period of time where individual will be very active. This is not because of their knowledge or their responsibility but the human nature. You enter a new position, you will work very hard to build your reputation. After a few years, you will become lazier than before and a downward trend begins in term of productivity and efficiency. Therefore, the leader of the team should do something to prevent the decreasing productivity from happening. All the leader should do is to keep his employee dynamic. However, building a close relationship among employee is costly. For instance, to throw a party for holiday, you should rent a place, order food and drink, buy gift……These thing may cost a lot. Some greedy employee may take advantage of it and take away a lot of food.
Even though it may cost a lot, It is still have a lot of advantage of being concerned with our employee. If we create a sense of belonging within employee, and they all enjoy working here, and the productivity will improve. In addition, the reputation of the company will be improved, which can attract a lot of experienced employee to join the team.
It is a worthy investment that put more effort into building relationship with the stuff. After all , a company cannot be success without the effort of the employee.
