Hi there! My name is Ophelia Yingqiu Zhao, I am a Beijing girl. My first language is Mandarin and I am fluent in English as well. I currently live in Vancouver for my Bachelor of Fine Arts in University of British Columbia. I intend to pursue a visual art major along with a minor in art history. I enjoy reading, writing and creating art. Within the first two decades of my life I have produced many artworks in a variety of mediums, such as drawing, painting, photography, performance, etc. My art production also includes a diversity of subject matters from politics, psychology(psychoanalysis) and philosophy.

As an art student, I have taken courses in visual art, art history, as well as creative writing, political science and philosophy.
