Reliquary(2017) is a re-combination readymade. I had woodsticks assembled onto a hanukka meronah in portraying an interaction between nature and human culture, as well as a confrontation between life and death.

In the language of semiotics, the title De-tale can be interpreted into two aspects: in terms of signifier, these photos are either croped or zoomed to become a detail; in terms of signified, it is the deconstrustion of a tale, namely de-tale. 

In Untitled(2017), I involved technique of psychoanalysis to portray my manifest content through video and performing art. I applied two separated scenes indicating a first person perspective as well as an angle from an outsider. The artistic genre was intentionally left behind, I asked my audiences to address different themes towards the video in a psychoanalytical approach, and come up with responses as reflections to my dream scenarios.

Habitat(2017) is a performance art I produced in the summer of 2017. I was inspired from artist Cesare Pietroiusti’s ‘Non-Functional Thoughts’. I intentionally dressed up in an appearance of abnormality and spent time at a place that is considered naturally harmonious. During the process I paid close attention to both passersby’s reactions(human and non-human) and my own state of mind.
