I work in Science World for 2 month and I think this experience is very precious for my future.<\/p>\n

<Hard Skill what I learned from Science World><\/strong><\/p>\n

–\u00a0 In Science world, I learned about many science effect and biology. I could learn about these things because I dealt with many facilities, animal and bugs. Now, I have confidence about science effect and biology, at least in Science World.<\/p>\n

<Soft Skills what I learned from Science World><\/strong><\/p>\n

– \u00a0While I work for here, my one of the most tried thing was smiling when I talk with others. I think\u00a0I did quite well, and I could hear that\u00a0I always smile in front of customers from staffs. I feel very proud about that.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

–\u00a0 I could talk with customers, not only as a worker, but also as a friend. Different with Korea, In Vancouver people are very friendly and like talk with strangers. Because many Vancouver people like talk something and a good listener. It makes me natural talk with stranger and learned about what I have to do when I talk with strangers. Now I\u00a0know about that what is good subject and bad subject when I talk with strangers or customers. It also makes me how to make people feel better after talk with me.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0 I could receive a lot of opportunities\u00a0that it\u00a0makes me improve customer service skills. Now, I can explain Science World location and about all facilities. And when\u00a0customers have some problems, I can deal with problem by myself calmly. Also I can make them relax when they have problem, such as get lost or hurt from facility.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0 My big purpose of intern was improve English and I think quite improve my English skill. Now I have brave to talk with any people about any topic. Also\u00a0I don\u2019t hesitate anymore when\u00a0I\u00a0talk with others even I don\u2019t organize my thinking or can\u2019t remember exact word. I try to explain different way when I don\u2019t know word, and I don\u2019t\u00a0be embarrassed when people can\u2019t understand my accent.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<Thoughts as finish work><\/strong><\/p>\n

When I apply for Science World through UBC Global Career Foundation Program, I have just little experience about customer service from some part time jobs.I was curious whether I have aptitude for customer service or not.<\/p>\n

Honestly, at first week work was very confused and disappointed.I expected I can learn everything about Science World, I have many opportunity to talk with people and very improve my English skill. However, when I work in Science World first time, I just stand on the gallery with nothing.<\/p>\n

But few days after, I try to talk with customers first.I have brave and I don\u2019t care anymore that people can understand me or not. I just try that and I did it. After these days, I learned about many science words and how to deal with problem with customers.<\/p>\n

I am sure about that this experience\u00a0is very precious for my future career. Now, I feel I can understand more than before about customer service.<\/p>\n
