And you don&#8217;t need to worry if you are not a designer, because it offers a variety of beautifully designed templates to use (see list on right).<\/p>\n<p>I used it for the first time to create this <a href=\"http:\/\/pub.lucidpress.com\/b7c7a627-ec5c-4eea-8b67-143ff5193d09\/\" target=\"_blank\">flyer <\/a>to\u00a0promote a new training program. The website claims that Lucidpress is:<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perfect for print;<\/li>\n<li>Dynamic for digital;<\/li>\n<li>Built for\u00a0 collaboration; and<\/li>\n<li>Easy from the start.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I was not disappointed. The design was completed in record time. I was not hindered at all by a learning curve \u2014 it was that easy to use! Once the design is complete, it can be linked easily to other social media sites. Which, as I am learning in the <strong>ET<\/strong><strong>EC510: The Design of Technology-Supported Learning Environments,<\/strong> is a technological affordance that facilitates a participatory online culture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/pub.lucidpress.com\/b7c7a627-ec5c-4eea-8b67-143ff5193d09\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-full wp-image-595 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/parm27\/files\/2015\/03\/fasd.jpg\" alt=\"FASD Training Flyer\" width=\"225\" height=\"291\" \/><\/a>I imagine that are other opportunities to use Lucidpress in education, other than just creating promotional materials. As an educational tool, Lucidpress can be used by both educators or learners. Educators can use it for presenting information to learners, or for other training materials.
