The Cambridge History of Iran

Following links are 3 of the total 7 volumes for the book The Cambridge History Of Iran. One of the most amazing books I have seen regarding the history of Iran. If you search you will find more volumes too.

This is very helpful for your presentations too.

Language in Architecture?

Hello everyone,

I have been thinking about something Dr. Ghomshei said during his presentation regarding Iranian Mythology and how our Language and Culture are intertwined with our Art and Architecture. I happened to come across this article in Hamshahri Newspaper which is relevant to that subject. Unfortunately it is in Farsi, and it is way too long to translate. If anyone is terribly interested, I’d be more than happy to give you a brief translation.

Art

Hey guys I found this web site that shows some art forms from different periods in Iran. Mostly, textiles and ceramics in each era. It’s pretty cool to see them in order.
