- Native to Europe
- 30-60 cm tall. Nice azure blue flowers, late spring to early summer. Attractive, well defined bracts.
- Full sun. Well drained or dry soil. Self sowing. Can become weedy in drier sites.
- Excellent in a wildflower mixture. Mixes well with grasses – great aesthetically, and does not get out competed. Makes a good cut or dried flower.
