  • Delicate looking, finely textured plant. Single, silky, bright orange, cup-shaped flowers. Fused calyx.
  • Flowers for 1.5 months in early summer.
  • Full sun. Prefers poor soil and heat. Drought tolerant. Doesn’t outcompete grasses.
  • Ideal location is a sunny slope. Works well as an early summer massing, or as part of a wildflower mix. Good choice for a brownfield site.
