- Clumps of glaucous, round/wiry blades. 30 cm high by 30 cm wide.
- Oat-coloured inflorescence rises out of base.
- Full sun. Low water. Drought tolerant.
- Does not age well. Centre of tuft dies out. Should be divided every few years. Does not spread on its own.
- Glaucous foliage and tan inflorescence makes an attractive combination. Handsome plant as long as it is maintained properly. Use in a border or as edging. Does well in formal contemporary landscapes.
