- 40 cm tall. Slender, rolled up leaves arching out of the base.
- Beautiful purple iris flower with a triangular ovary and upright flags.
- Full sun. Moist, well-drained soil. A rare bulbous iris that does not rot in Vancouver.
- Not always commercially available. Commonly shared between gardeners.
- Great in a mixed border or grassy meadow.
