- Creeping ground cover. Very attractive foliage. Dark green, glossy, palmate leaves. Red stems. Bristly, but soft to the touch.
- Will grow in full sun or shade.
- Can be aggressive, but is easily kept under control in Vancouver by a cold winter.
- Useful ground cover, as it looks great and can transition between sun and shade, and can cover large areas. Has a woodland garden feeling, but not strongly so.
