To add sound, under upload, browse for you mp3 file. Enter a title for your sound file and click “upload”. Choose the option Link to: File. On your WYSIWYG you will see a hyperlink text. Once you publish your page, you will notice the hyperlink text will change to something else like this below. Click on the ‘+’ to expand the built-in player. Pretty NEAT!

I have tried for hours to upload sound files without result. The wheel keeps spinning and nothing gets uploaded (and this is AFTER I changed my browser from Safari to Firefox under Colleen’s advice).
Also, a couple of things I did manage to upload did not go on the page where they were supposed to go. They show up in my upload menus as if they were on the page but when I click on the actual page they are not there and there does not appear to be any link to them.
Can you please help?
Thanks, Amalia (email amaliapistilli@hotmail.com)
Amalia,
You did everything correct. I don’t exactly know why you weren’t able to add the mp3 and PDF file. I was in your blog and saw you were successfully able to upload it onto the server but just had trouble adding it to the page. All I did was I went under “manage->pages->musical postings->edit” to view your last music posting. I went to “browse all” and clicked on the thumbnail “billybangpm.mp3” Next it says “link to:” and ensure you select “file” and click “send to editor”
I did the exact same thing with the PDF file you had uploaded for the page called “Peter Carey’s “Do You Love Me?”
I think what happened was you did not physically add it to the page. You missed one last step which is clicking on the thumbnail and then selecting it to “link to: file” and lastly to “send to editor”
Let me know if you are successful to add more files/media to your blog.

Angela
