A second instalment to the biography of John Fairbank published in 1988<\/a> looking at his influence and meaning 30 years after his death in an era of US-China confrontation.<\/p>\n

Project leader on \u201cMiddle Power Agency in an Era of Great Power Confrontation,\u201d organized as part of the Pok Rafeah Chair program. This will produce a co-edited edited volume, IKMAS Insights<\/em>, \u201cPositioning Malaysia in an Indo-Pacific Era<\/em>\u201d featuring 8 essays by UKM faculty expected in October 2023 and, separately, a collection (co-curated and co-introduced with Kuik Cheng-Chwee) of 7 essays by authors from 5 countries on the theme of Middle Power Agency to appear as the cover package in the September 2023 edition of Global Asia<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
