This database has been created by UBC Political Science and International Relations undergraduate students as part of their course on International Conflict Management and Peacebuilding.
We hope it offers fellow researchers insight into specific case studies, details analysis of of specific policies, and the ability to compare across cases.
Each entry includes basic information about the conflict, a range of specific facts about the policy in question, analysis of the policy by our student researchers, and a list of resources for further reading and research.
At the moment the database includes information on formal peace processes, post-conflict security sector reform and formal reconciliation processes. If you have suggestions for policies you would like to see on the database please email jenny.peterson@ubc.ca. If you spot a factual error/typo in any of the entries please also email so that this can be looked into.
