Today is a bright, beautiful, sunny fall day. But due to a plethora of exams next week, I am stuck inside studying&#8230; At first I was feeling sorry for myself, but then I realized how I am essentially complaining about a #firstworldproblem. Many people in Canada and around the world would be thrilled to be given the educational opportunities I have been given. It seems like a moral obligation to try and make the most of my education. Last night, one of my friends shared this ad on Facebook (yes, I took a short study break).<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oQrUHFLGkEA<\/p>\n<p>This ad was created by DDB and is the subject of a great <a title=\"Business Insider\" href=\"http:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/ddbs-firstworldproblems-haiti-water-ad-2012-10\" target=\"_blank\">Business Insider<\/a> article. The creative concept behind this advertisement is brilliant. All of our so called #firstworldproblems are insignificant when compared to the actual life and death struggles endured by people living in developing nations. Clean water is a basic building block for any healthy life or society. A lack of clean water is a #realproblem.
