BNs are biscuits known to a majority of children in France and Europe for their funny smiles and sweet tastes with flavors range from chocolate , hazelnuts to strawberry. Originally from the UK , BN was sold by Blackstone and PAI partners to Yildiz Holding, the biggest snack and beverage company of Turkey, for 2 billion British pounds (3.19657 billion U.S. ).
Although absent in the UK, it is already present in Turkey, North America, the Middle East , North Africa , China and Japan. This purchase will expand Yildiz by conquering the British market (where BN is the number one biscuit) and other European markets. This enormous investment might , in my opinion , pay off very well for Yildiz because risks are minimized by the fact that BN biscuits will continue to thrive in Europe for a long time.
I can’t predict the future but as a French person who travelled around Europe for two months and who goes back to France regularly I can tell that BN are still everywhere and kids love them as they did when I was younger. If Apple sits on the top of the mobile and computer technology , BN locked its position as the good and sweet biscuit in every kids and families mind.
