In using data to intuitively reveal patterns and trends, highlight outliers and tells stories with their data, Gephi has been used for projects such as visualizing the global connectivity of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New York Times <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">content and in examining Twitter network traffic during social unrest. More recently, Gephi has been used within the digital humanities (in history, literature, political sciences, among many subjects) resulting in new research findings that were not previously possible using only analog methods and print materials.
