Its me

Wow..welcome here 🙂

You can call me by PK (/peekay/). I hail from Pabna which is known as ‘maniacs kernel’ of Bangladesh. I grew up there with many affectionate alias- ‘Russell’, ‘Razmoni’ and ‘Mubarak’. I love trees, rain and sushi.

Academically, I am a 5th-year PhD student in Timber Engineering and Applied Mechanics lab at UBC. Prior to earning my Master’s from UBC-Okanagan I completed my bachelor at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. My research focuses on stability of cross laminated timber (CLT) wall system. Besides, my research interest includes mechanics of materials (MoM) and finite element method (FEM). I am holding the EIT and actively connected with the CSCE and SEABC.

In Vancouver, during evenings and weekends, you can  find me biking around shore or hiking.
