You can call me by PK (\/peekay\/<\/span>). I hail from Pabna<\/a> which is known\u00a0as ‘maniacs kernel’<\/em> of Bangladesh. I grew up there with many\u00a0affectionate\u00a0alias- ‘Russell’, ‘Razmoni’ and ‘Mubarak’. I love trees, rain and\u00a0sushi.<\/p>\n

Academically, I am a 5th-year PhD student in Timber Engineering and Applied Mechanics<\/a> lab at UBC<\/a>. Prior to earning my Master’s from UBC-Okanagan I completed my bachelor at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology<\/a>. My research focuses on stability of cross laminated timber<\/a>\u00a0(CLT) wall system. Besides, my research interest includes mechanics of materials (MoM) and finite element method (FEM). I am holding the EIT and actively connected with the CSCE<\/a> and SEABC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Vancouver, during evenings and weekends, you can\u00a0 find me biking around shore or\u00a0hiking.<\/p>\n
