Polaris is a group of Forestry students from the University of British Columbia. We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to meet select members of the Canoe Creek First Nation, and work to understand their traditional ways of life. In the process, we will collaboratively work with the community to learn about the current state of resource management on their traditional lands, and formulate potential ideas in which the land may be managed to better include what is important to the Canoe Creek people.
