GIS enabled me to navigate through ArcMap and execute functions when creating a map. Examples include housing affordability, tsunami warnings, and environmental risk assessments. Lab sessions pushed me to be hardworking, focused, ask questions, and engage with other students effectively. Challenges faced throughout the course include the factors that are required to be taken under consideration when working on your own. Main achievement, was looking back and seeing the maps I created myself, and the effort was reflected in my grades. Some weaknesses in relation to the course, was not understanding that basic functions matter the most, and I cannot overlook them, the step by step method is crucial in the process.
