Water Policy Dialogues in BC

We invite you to join us at the School of Community and Regional Planning (SCARP) for our next  Lunchtime Dialogue

Water Policy Dialogues in BC

Monday October 27, 12:15 – 1:30pm

Room 150, West Mall Annex

1933 West Mall, UBC

We live in a region with relatively abundant fresh water, however we are not immune to problems of scarcity, pollution or inefficiency. Furthermore, climate change is likely to modify precipitation patterns and alter the hydrological cycle around the world, including here in B.C.. Our panel discussion will revolve around these challenges and how municipalities are addressing them.

On Monday, October 27th, from 12:15pm to 1:30pm,  the new Water Planning Lab at the School of Community and Regional Planning will be presenting Water Policy Dialogues in BC. The dialogue will feature:

  • Director of Utilities and Transportation for West Vancouver, Raymond Fung
  • Planning and Policy Analysts from the City of Vancouver, Shelley Heinricks and Kyra Lubell.
  • Professor Jordi Honey-Rosés will moderate the discussion.

Pizza and a salad will be available for $4 in cash.
Space is limited so please secure your spot and spread the word.
