Marketing and the image that is portrayed in the market is vital for the brands. It could essentially make or break the brand and lead to its success.

Angels, Angels everywhere! The brand that treats its customers like angels by providing them with the most enjoyable and memorable experience when they walk through the doors into a world of everything that pink and lovely. Fellow Sauder student Jean Matthieu-Jamet has mentioned about the very same in his latest blog post “FOR THE LOVE OF BRANDING: VICTORIA REVEALS HER SECRET

Jean talks about the importance of the way the brand is marketed. He focuses upon the significance the models play in the image of the brand. Victoria’s Secret has the most beautiful and stunning women as their models and he throws light upon how they essentially either make or break the image of the brand; how sometimes a model is associated with the brand.

I completely agree with Jean’s point of view as I agree with the immense recognition that Victoria’s Secret has established in the market.  They offer products that are very unique and has a degree of luxury associated with it. Their stores have an environment that attracts every women and provide customer service like no other brand which eventually creates a degree of brand loyalty. Victoria’s Secret has a very unique point of difference when compared to the other brands in their market. They use numerous social media platforms to reach to as many customers as they can. Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter..you name it. From posting live updates about their shows on Snapchat to updates about Meet-and-Greets of their famous “angels” and not to forget the attractive sale promotion offers posted online, VS has it all covered.
