I am a huge fan of video games and ever since I can remember I’ve been playing video games. There are basically three consoles that run the video game industry which are Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Ps3 and the Nintendo Wii. Out of those three I believe Xbox 360 is the best and is definitely my favorite. It has games such as Halo and Gears of War which none of the other consoles have and those two games are really big sellers and some of the best games out there. Most of the games on Wii are only for Wii and none of the other consoles have them although I’m not a big fan of Wii as none of their games are challenging and they seem to attract more of a younger audience.
Xbox and PS3 are definitely where the excitement is at. Sony and Microsoft have been in competition in the video game industry for many years. Although Xbox definitely has more of the better games that can be played on its console and not on PS3. PS3 does have free online gaming which is very beneficial as with Xbox you have to by a year or month pass which can cost up to $60 for the year. A lot of gaming now is done online so Sony does have a good advantage offering free online play although all the games the are fun to play online can only be played on Xbox such as Halo and Gears of War. PS3 also had an advantage as they had WiFi on their console but Microsoft recently came out with a new design for their console which includes WiFi and a built in fan to prevent overheating. My decision for best console has always been Xbox, the controller is more comfortable, the games are better and it also feels like playing on Xbox, you play better competitors online than on PS3 but thats just my personal opinion.
