I’m a really big fan of speed bikes and this commercial came to mind when Tamar was speaking about the Harley Davidson positioning strategy and how Harley Davidson understood that their bikes are expensive to ride due to high gas consumption but Harley Davidson wants its riders to enjoy the ride and not worry about the gas prices and value the bike and the experiences it gives by riding it. Kawasaki had created a commercial similar to that by expressing that Kawasaki bikes are built for speed and their are rules and enforcers preventing you to enjoy the rush of riding over 100 mph but that’s what their bikes are made for, to go fast. You own a speed bike to go fast and enjoy the adrenaline rush. I know when I get my kawasaki bike, I won’t be scaried to break a few rules, I just hope my parents will understand when they bail me out of jail.
