As a dental hygienist, I have had the incredible opportunity to work in Canada’s remote Arctic communities. I have experienced both 24 hours of daylight and 24 hours of darkness. It was a privilege to experience the Inuit culture, and I greatly value my time in the North as life changing. While working and travelling from community to community, I kept a blog to share my experiences. I ate muktuk, saw the Northern lights and met many wonderful people.
