I have a very distinct way that I enjoy interacting with technology. I’ve never had any instruction with anything besides the basics of Macs when I was in elementary school. Everything else has come as a result of my ability to “play” with different technological tools. Often times, as evidenced by my “Collaboration Station” tab, my exposure has come as a result of others, and in order to complete a project.
Because of my strong feelings on the topic, I chose to spend my research time investigating whether play was a good way to approach instruction in schools. I paid particular attention to the resources we were provided with during our course, as I found myself having a strong reaction to much of what I read. Below is the result of my research.
