Bio:

My name is Ryan Edgar, and I have been a high school teacher for seven years – all of which have been at Argyle Secondary School in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.  I am trained as a Technology Education (TE) teacher – what is that you ask?  It is a fancy name for a shop teacher.  Although trained as a TE teacher I have also taught Math, Information Technology and most recently, I have taken on the positions of Work Experience and Apprenticeship coordinator for the school.  Currently I am working on my Master’s as I am enrolled in the Masters of Educational Technology program through distant education at UBC. Besides teaching, I am also involved in athletics at Argyle.  I am the coach of the school’s Wrestling team and have also coached Rugby (but currently I am not involved with Rugby so I can focus on school and my young family).
