Hello Parents and Guardians of Div 20,
I have attached the Intro letter, a Meet the Staff Letter, as well as the Family Information sheet here for your convenience.
He have had a great first week settling back in and getting used to our new schedule.
We did lots of team building and getting to know each other activities, next week I will continue to see where your child is at with their learning and have discussions with them about what they are excited to learn about.
As we move into cold season, please do keep your child home if you feel they are getting sick to help us prevent the spread of germs.
Reminder for the upcoming week:
*** All children should have submitted their forms and fees***
*** All children should have both inside/outside shoes as well as a water bottle***
Monday: Computers
Tuesday: Gym and Music
Wednesday: Gym
Thursday: Library Book Exchange *starting this week* please remind your children that they are responsible for their own books. If they do not return it in the same condition or they lose it, they will need to pay to have it replaced. Also, please support your child by helping them remember to return their book so they are able to take out new ones.
Friday: Pro D Day (school is not in session)
Ways to be involved this week:
We start most mornings with Tai Chi. Please feel free to join us. You are also always welcome at our school wide assemblies on Friday first thing in the morning.
Coming Up:
Terry Fox Run: I sent all children home with the information about Terry Fox. Please encourage your children to ask their family and family friends to make a donation. I will be collecting all donations on the day of the Run. Terry Fox T-Shirts will also be on sale.
I have stickers for all the children to wear on their shirts with a place to add someone’s name. If your child is running for someone who is battling cancer or who has passed away from cancer please let me know and I will make sure that name gets written down on their sticker.
