Peek at the week: October 7th-11th

Hello all,

Division 20 had another great week! I feel very lucky to be their teacher.

This week we had the opportunity to watch the grade 4/5/6 classes present the “Montessori Great Stories”. This was a nice way for me to see previous students as well as for our class to see older students in action.

Terry Fox update: The snack sale raised $350

Work Journals: The start of Work Journals went well. However, please do have a conversation with your child around the importance of taking ownership of their own work. I had lots of conversations with students this week about wasting time.

Orange Shirt Day:  Thank you for encouraging your children to wear an Orange Shirt, we did a few activities around the importance of this day. If you haven’t done so already please do inform yourself about it.

The week ahead:

Monday: Computers and Library Collaboration time  ***Wheelchair Basketball***

Tuesday: Music and Gym

Wednesday: Special Activity (Arts Umbrella) *Children may want to dress in something that paint can get on.
