This is why I hope the RESPECT Magazine can become a space of empathy and acceptance for everyone who needs it and bring us a little bit closer to an equitable community.\u00a0<\/span><b><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><b>Nancy Jiayi Lu <\/b><\/b><strong>|\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Undergraduate Student\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>|\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Majoring in Psychology <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>|<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Faculty of Science <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>|\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>UBC Okanagan<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recognizing, embracing and respecting individual and group differences are important to all the communities. Diversity shapes our view of the world from different dimensions.
