Bio

My Name is Richard Bryant, I am a third year student my Bachelor of Business in Real Estate Degree through Sauder School of Business and the University of British Columbia. I intend to graduate in August of 2018! I love the idea of making passive income, geography and planning theory, and evolving architecture. I wanted to be an architect for most of my life, then moved into property instead. I love learning about how cities form and the hierarchy of individuals who influence building design. I find property development extremely interesting; the complexity and rate of change in the development industry is what truly intrigues me. I know that there will always be areas to improve and new processes to learn in this field. These interests all stem from a deep seeded want to better the lives of my friends and family.

Once I complete my BBRE program, I may continue with a masters in planning or urban design, but in the interm I will create my investing company immediately and continue building my network of professionals who are like minded and will help me reach my goals. My goal is to retire from my full time job at the age of 42. This way I will have more time for my family, which I will have started at the age of 30. I want to end up in a position that gives me the power to make my own hours, decent travel opportunities, and has just enough authority to make tough decisions but won’t consume me altogether. It is my dream to own and operate a large scale commercial condominium or multiple. Once I have completed these goals I will devote all my time to my family and the community, giving back in any way that I can. Thanks for being apart of my journey!
