RYANAIR ROBBERY

Just when you thought Ryanair couldn’t do anything more to earn a “quick buck,” so to speak, C.E.O. Michael O’Leary goes and suggests the idea of cutting a co pilot.
“Nowadays, they just press a button…then read a newspaper or just do nothing.” – Leary stated in a previous press conference.
Leary and Ryanair have been infamous for preposterous cost cutting measures in the past, suggesting fees for washroom usages (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/4861505/Ryanair-may-charge-1-for-toilet-use.html) and extra seat charges for musical instruments (http://www.comparecarhire.co.uk/news/ryanair-tells-girl-that-her-violin-will-need-its-own-seat-53820309.html), bu
t this one really takes the cake.
Cutting a pilot on budget flights would not only pose an inconvenience and a risk to the pilot and employees of the airline, but create a potential disaster and hazard for Ryanair passengers. What if a pilot were to have a heart attack midflight or what if the pilot injured himself in the air? Leary
believes that co-pilots should help to serve customers tea and food, but imagine what kind of danger this can create as the pilot could be assaulted in an unlocked cockpit or become momentarily distracted to allow a locked out co-pilot to re-enter. Making money is one thing, but taking away a pilot away is midair robbery.
