End of Semester Reflection: Thoughts on Marketing Overall

After spending a semester with Tamar, I found that marketing is actually more strategic than I originally thought. Before taking this course, I shared the same foolish belief as my friends: In marketing, you would just make advertisements all day, paint posters, make Facebook ads, do some television commercials… Looking back now, I now see how uninformed we were. Marketing is not only about advertising, it is about also about supply chain, strategy, positioning, psychology. Everything we see around us has had the influence of Marketing: cars, houses, the coffee on your table…’
The knowledge I have gained through this course will definitely help me in the future.
As the final post of this course, I will post a video not related to marketing. I want you, the reader to get a good laugh watching this, as a way to thank you for all your hard work.
On YouTube, search “CK Louis” and watch one of his video, although I must warn, his uses very strong language in his videos– I guess you can say that is how he markets and brands himself.
