In western philosophy, Plato (428-348 BC) has affirmed that all learning has an emotional based (Santillan, 2009). However, glimpsing historical data, scientific interest underwent something of renaissance in the 1990\u2019s (Evans, 2001). In the twenty-first century an <em>emotion revolution<\/em> has emerged in response to the cognitive revolution of the 50\u2019s. (Damasio, 2009).<\/p>\n<p>The influence of emotions on Learning still under &#8211; emphasized, but there is a growing body of literature that has begun to espouse the role of emotions to any learning endeavor, especially in online learning.<\/p>\n<p>Emotional intelligence derives from the complexity of emotions, and it\u00a0 means that I one regulates\u00a0 feelings such as reduce anger or anxiety to understand the causes.\u00a0 I did\u00a0 a research on\u00a0 Emotional Intelligence and the Acquisition of a Second Language<\/p>\n<p><strong>[youtube]https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iyK9l2dWRAY[\/youtube]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nowadays, in this knowledge era, there is an imperative necessity on exploring Emotions from new perspectives such as evolutionary biology, neuroscience, anthropology,\u00a0 experimental psychology and\u00a0artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Emotions and e-Learning My interest in researching emotions and learning stems from reflecting on my seventeen years of teaching adults experience where I have observed the influence on emotions and feelings on the learners\u2019 performance.
