Rob’s Bio

Hi, my name is Rob. I’m a soon-to-be-graduated 5th-year student of The University of British Columbia.  As a former major in business and music, I’m currently in the Faculty of Arts majoring in Computer Science. The non-major credits in my degree comprise of a wide variety of disciplines, ranging from visual arts to literature.

My decision to switch to Computer Science was a major turning point in my academic history. Approaching my third year, I had a sudden revelation: my education in business had come to an end once I decided to pursue online entrepreneurship seriously. Meanwhile, we live in a time when massive technological shifts could alter and progress the world significantly. It will be substantially worthwhile to participate in the progress.

I have an extensive history of professionally pursuing a variety of personal interests in the arts, such as music, literature, visual arts, and more. I was an aspiring DJ and music producer, playing in various venues throughout downtown Vancouver and winning producer contests at Beatport. I also have a record of producing print and web graphics for my online businesses and a former employer. And lastly, I often contemplate the idea of being an accomplished novelist one day.

I currently use my acquired expertise and skill in business and computer science to pursue endeavours in online entrepreneurship, aiming to create work that hopefully transforms the lives of many people around the world. I have a wide variety of online endeavours that heavily focus on programming, computer and data science, business, lifestyle, and more. I’m also an aspiring programmer and computer scientist. I aim to join the global tech sector as a versatile professional, preferably working for a great tech company.
Anyways, that’s me in a nutshell. I look forward to enjoy my time with you all. Take care.
