Thurston Moore–founding member of the rock group Sonic Youth<\/a> and head honcho of EcstaticPeace.com<\/a>, a music, art, and literature website–has a new book, Mix Tape: The Art of Cassette Culture<\/i>, which inspired me to dig out some old mix tapes buried in boxes deep in the basement.<\/p>\n
