This cohort addresses issues such as environmentalism, equity and social justice, and private versus public education funding debates and facilitates activism across curriculum and evaluation within the schools and critical analysis and activism in communities and the media. The cohort is organized\u00a0around three core themes: solidarity, engagement, and critical analysis and research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/pdce.educ.ubc.ca\/med-in-curriculum-studies-cpea\/#tab_About-0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1252\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/ices\/files\/2014\/11\/BCTFRallySignJune2014-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"BCTFRallySignJune2014\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #444444;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pdce.educ.ubc.ca\/med-in-curriculum-studies-cpea\/#tab_About-0\" target=\"_blank\">new UBC M.Ed. in Critical Pedagogy and Education Activism (Curriculum Studies)<\/a>\u00a0is a cohort program in which participants attend courses together in a central location.
