Give me some of that North Carolina Barbecue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There is nothing better than <a href=\"http:\/\/uncpress.unc.edu\/browse\/book_detail?title_id=1541\">North Carolina barbecue<\/a> (where I come from bbq means chopped pork). I&#8217;m particularly fond of the eastern NC, vinegar-based, barbecue (although mustard based bbq in South Carolina is pretty darn good too, I never miss a chance to visit Piggy Park in Cayce, SC).<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/chronicle.com\/media\/flash\/v55\/i17\/bbq\/\">slide show primer<\/a> on eastern NC barbecue that features Allen &amp; Sons in Chapel Hill.
